Certification Programs from CMTL allow computer memory manufacturers to submit their products for compatibility testing on the industry’s leading manufacturers products. Every CMTL Certified memory module is put through extensive cross platform compatibility testing to eliminate the risk of incompatibles. The testing includes testing many different manufacturers using a variety of DRAM, processors and chipsets to ensure compatibility. The CMTL Products section of the website is dedicated to the Memory Compatibility & Functionality Tester (MCFT). The MCFT Card is a memory testing PCI card designed for the rigorous testing needs of computer manufacturers, design engineers, and service professionals. The MCFT Card is a self booting, operating system independent memory diagnostic card for exercising and validating RAM in AT 486 through the latest series of Intel Pentium, AMD Athlon, and Cyrix compatible processors. In other words virtually any system board with an available PCI slot can utilize the MCFT Card for testing and diagnosing its installed memory without loading any software utilities of disturbing the current system setup in anyway.
